Zoom Zoom Track Events signs Yamaha, Michelin and Chuck Sorensen

FERNLEY, Nevada – Zoom Zoom, the leading provider of motorcycle track events on the West Coast, is delighted to announce that both Yamaha Motor Corp., USA and Michelin have partnered with Zoom Zoom for the 2006 season. In addition, Zoom Zoom has signed Chuck Sorensen to help take our track events to a level beyond anything else available!

Zoom Zoom is proud to announce that Yamaha has become our premier partner for 2006. As part of this program, Zoom Zoom instructors will be riding 2006 R1 and R6 motorcycles at Zoom Zoom’s schools and Zoom Zoom customers who ride Yamaha sportbikes will be eligible for discounts at all Zoom Zoom events.

“Wow,” said Chris Keane, CEO of Zoom Zoom, “Yamaha’s R1 and R6… the most exciting motorcycles in the world, along with the most exciting track events. That’s a whole lot of excitement. I may need sit down for a while now. Does anyone have a paper bag I can breathe into?”

To add to the excitement, Michelin has also joined forces with Zoom Zoom and will make Michelin tires available at all Zoom Zoom track events in 2006. Trackside tire service will be provided by AFMotorsports.com, the California Michelin racetire distributor.

“I think our customers are going to go crazy when they see how much they can save on these amazing Michelins when they buy a tire/trackday package from us,” continued Keane. “We’re thrilled to be running Michelin-shod Yamaha motorcycles at Zoom Zoom schools and racing on them with the Zoom Zoom Racing team.”

These relationships with marquee companies further cement Zoom Zoom’s position as the top motorcycle track event organization on the West Coast.

Zoom Zoom is also delighted to announce that multiple-time AMA champion Chuck Sorensen has joined Zoom Zoom as the leader of the advanced instruction program.

“Having Chuck share his immense talent for riding and instruction at our events this year is a huge win for our customers, especially the advanced riders and racers who are looking to hone their already impressive abilities,” said Keane. “Plus, Chuck’s a great guy too!”

Sorensen joins Shawn Reilly — the AMA regular and international endurance racer — in shaping the instructional program at Zoom Zoom in 2006.

This year you can find Zoom Zoom at Thunderhill, Infineon Raceway, Buttonwillow and Reno-Fernley on more weekend days than anyone else. Come join us at the track! Kneepucks were born to slide. Don’t let yours miss out!
