SCUDERIA SC CARACCHI PARTS COMPANY WITH FONSI NIETO (Assen 2005, September 1st) Scuderia SC Caracchi Ducati announces that, starting from the Assen round of 2005 World Superbike, Fonsi Nieto is no longer racing for the established team, based in Bologna. Nieto’s racing season didn’t give to the Team the results that both were hoping to reach, and, due a failure to respect all the terms of the contract, Stefano Caracchi was forced to take a difficult decision. “Luckily Gianluca Nannelli in Supersport and Lorenzo Lanzi in Superbike are keeping the Team’s results at a high level. Once more we obtained very good results, with world rostrums and we have given great popularity to rising riders. It’s really a pity for Fonsi, as very often we have rebuilt riders in difficulties and left without Teams and bike; with Nieto we didn’t succeed.” At this point of the season I would like to thank all the Mechanics of the Team for the big enthusiasm and the sacrifices done. Thanks to them we succeeded in giving great occasions to our riders to stand out in the Superbike and Supersport World Championship. We wish to Fonsi Nieto to reach in the future all the sporting results that his talent and his class deserves.” Stefano Caracchi Scuderia SC Caracchi Team Owner
