WERA Sportsman Series Racing At Grattan Raceway This Coming Weekend

WERA NORTH CENTRAL SPORTSMAN REGION KICKS OFF!

The WERA North Central Sportsman riders will kick off their season on May 6-7 at Grattan Raceway in Belding, Michigan. Grattan Raceway has been on the WERA Schedule for the majority of WERA’s existence and remains a favorite with the North Central WERA riders. Racing kicks off on Saturday at 1:00 p.m. with the WERA Vintage Series races as well as the Solo 20 races. Sunday’s sprint schedule kicks off at noon with 13 sprints on tap for the day.

“For 2017 we have two trophy sponsors for some of our classes in our North Central Region and want to welcome SAS Racing and Dynamic Motorsports to the program,” said Evelyne Clarke, WERA CEO, “with their help and the artistry of Joseph Suttles our 2017 trophies have a new look!”

The legacy of Pro riders on a National and World level is legendary. All events are run by WERA Motorcycle Roadracing and are co-sanctioned by the AMA. Racing is offered coast to coast with entry level racing in the WERA Sportsman Series as well as a Pro-Am Series with the Pirelli/WERA National Challenge Series as well as WERA Vintage Racing also this year our 2017 Triple Crown with MotoAmerica as well Endurance Racing with our Track Day partners N2 and STT.
