DOUBLEHEADERS AT WILLOW AND GRATTAN JUNE 10/11!
WERA Motorcycle Roadracing will be at the picturesque Grattan Raceway in Michigan with a Northcentral Sportsman Regional Doubleheader Saturday and Sunday! There is a rider’s school on Saturday for anyone wishing to see if motorcycle road racing is in your future, and for the Expert riders there is Honda, Kawasaki, Yamaha and Suzuki contingency on the line! In the E Superstock class riders on a Yamaha R3 model will again be able to qualify for the 2017 bLU cRU Yamaha R3 Challenge to be held at the 2017 WERA Grand National Finals.
Also on June 10-11 WERA Motorcycle Roadracing will return to the fastest road in the West – Willow Springs International Raceway in Rosamond, California, with a Lucas Oil WERA West Sportsman Doubleheader. The weekend will feature the Best of the West Lightweight Twins Superbike SV Challenge. There will be a purse paid in this class based on entries. BOTW entrants will receive a commemorative T-shirt. The Challenge is sponsored by Twin Works Factory Racing, LE Suspension and GP Motorcycles. A special thank you goes to our Lightweight Twins rider who spearheaded this Challenge for us and wishes to remain anonymous. Riders on the Yamaha R3 in the E Superstock Class will again be able to qualify for the 2017 bLU cRU Yamaha R3 Challenge and there will be a Rider’s School on Saturday for those interested in pursuing their dream! Expert riders have Honda, Kawasaki and Suzuki Contingency available.
