WERA MOTORCYCLE ROADRACING – 2015!

2015 is here and WERA Motorcycle Roadracing has posted our schedule on our web site – it is 95% firm – just make sure to check the web site in case there is a change. We begin racing January 25 at Auto Club Speedway in Fontana, CA with a Pirelli/WERA Sportsman presented by Lucas Oil, then January 31 and February 1 we will have the Pirelli/WERA Sportsman NOLA Region opener at NOLA in Louisiana.

The 2015 Rulebook has come together and the major changes will be the addition of an F Superstock Class where the 200-250cc machines will run opening up the E Superstock/Superbike Classes will be open to the new crop of 300cc machines. The KTM RC390 will run in the D Class initially until we determine the performance and may or may not index it into one of the other classes. Vintage will see the addition of V8 Heavyweight and Mediumweight Classes in 2015. The Women’s Superstock Class is no longer on our schedules. We will also have the Honda Grom run with our Mini Classes. The Rulebook is online at www.wera.com and we encourage you to read the changes which can be found in Chapter 3, Chapter 6, Chapter 9 and Chapter 11.

For 2015 there are a few fee changes. Your WERA Motorcycle Roadracing license (good for twelve months from the date of purchase) will go to $125.00 (1st time WERA License will be eligible for a $50.00 discount) and entry fees have a slight increase as well – all commencing 2/1/2015. You can find the fees under the “Fees” tab on the web site. The Solo races will have $10.00 from each go into a purse for 2015. These increases will ensure that WERA Motorcycle Roadracing can still take you to the tracks you like! We know you all understand how important your choices are and we hope that you will choose to support WERA Motorcycle Roadracing when it comes to your racing. We will continue to do our best to provide you with the most hassle free events we can.

Happy New Year and we look forward to seeing you at an event near you in 2015!
