Upper Arlington, OH – VETMotorsports is returning to the AMA Pro Racing paddock in 2014, and to help fund VETMotorsports’ unique wounded combat veteran crew experience they will launch a VETMotorsports “Light the Way Holiday Fundraiser.” VETMotorsports is asking for a tax-deductible donation every Friday beginning on Friday, November 29th and ending on Friday, December 20th. All charitable donations go towards funding VETMotorsports’ wounded combat veteran outreach. Donations can be made at www.vetmotorsports.org/donate/ VETMotorsports is a recognized 501c3 tax-exempt outreach program that places combat veterans into motorsports events that are team-oriented, purposeful and goal driven with actual hands-on time. The non-clinical outreach ensures that the participants are empowered and engaged; making them central components to team operations and including as many caregivers, peers and family members as possible. “The holidays are a time for giving,” states Peter Cline, Executive Director and Founder of VETMotorsports. “And we can’t think of a better way than making a donation to assist wounded combat veterans. Supporters can visit our donation link at www.vetmotorsports.org and make a tax-deductible donation that fits their budget.” “We already have commitments from AMA teams wanting to assist in our outreach. And when local veterans and their families participate in our program, we try to provide all the resources and material to make them feel like a team member,” continued Cline. “We try to ask very little of them by providing credentials, shirts, hats, and having Motion Pro donate their Tech Gloves. VETMotorsports is making a positive, long lasting impact on our participants, as well as in our sport.” To learn more about VETMotorsports please visit them on the web at www.vetmotorsports.org or follow them on Facebook at http://facebook.com/VETMotorsports, Twitter @VETMotorsports or Pinterest at pinterest.com/VETMotorsports/
