Odenton, MD. The USGPRU powered by AlwaysOnline.net today announced the 2006 GP Teen Challenge. The USGPRU will be presenting MotoGP weekend passes to the top 18-year-old and younger riders from the USGPRU races at Texas World Speedway on October 1st and 2nd. Winners will receive airfare, hotel, pit passes, and VIP access to the Red Bull US Grand Prix at Laguna Seca, CA on July 21-23, 2006 for themselves and a parent. Bradley Adams, winner of the 2005 250GP Teen Challenge said this of his experience this year: “The experience was absolutely wonderful! The Red Bull guys were just great, and it was great to be able to get out of the heat and watch the MotoGP overlooking turn one from the comfort of air-conditioned suite. We met John Hopkins, and got to meet a bunch of the other riders while waiting for our helicopter ride home.” “Flying in the same helicopter as a former president over incoming traffic to get into the event was pretty cool,” added Tyler Reiswig who took the 125GP prize this year. “We are thrilled to be able to extend the challenge again for the 2006 GP”, said series president, Stewart Aitken-Cade. “Opening up the Challenge for the National Final gives young racers across the nation a chance to compete for this coveted prize. As with the 2005 Teen Challenge, our objective is to expose young and talented racers to a real GP environment, and see them push even harder in their career with an ultimate goal of winning their own MotoGP race.” The 2005 USGPRU National Series sponsors include AlwaysOnline.net, Dialitintracktime.com, Acid Cigars, Roadracingworld.com, Revit Leathers, Bridgestone, Dunlop, EBC Brakes, GPC Moto, Hjelm Motorsports, Ian Emberton Engineering, Motion Pro Cables and Tools, Redline Cycle Imports, Repsol YPF, Rising Sun Cycles, Silkolene, Zambrana Performance, and VP Fuel.
