Tommy Hayden Runs Away With AMA Superstock Race At VIR

Kawasaki’s Tommy Hayden took his second AMA Supersport race win today at VIR, his second win in the class this season.

Team Valvoline EMGO Suzuki’s Josh Hayes held off Attack Suzuki’s Jason Pridmore to take second, the first Supersport podium for both Hayes and Pridmore this season.

The race was full of attrition with Jamie Hacking and Aaron Yates both crashing out of the race while in contention for the lead. Team Valvoline EMGO Suzuki’s Tom Kipp and Chris Ulrich also crashed, Ulrich after his bike threw a connecting rod. Bruce Transportation Group Honda’s Jake Zemke and Attack Suzuki’s Ben Spies DNF.
