Tim Hortons (Sudbury) To Continue Sponsorship Of Ben Young

Thornbury Ontario Canada –  As announced last week Scottish-born Canadian resident Ben Young will return to race in the United States in the MotoAmerica series with the RoadRace Factory team after a season in the MCE British Superbike (BSB) Championships Pirelli Superstock 1000 Championship. Young will pilot Yamaha’s latest YZFR6 in the 2015 Supersport Class.

Young joins Cameron Petersen (South Africa) and returning rider Tomas Puerta (Colombia) in the 600cc Supersport Class. The international RoadRace Factory team roster is lead by 2014 AMA DSB Champion American Jake Gagne who moves up to the 1000cc Superstock Class this year aboard the all new Yamaha YZFR1.

Ben Young: “I’m really excited to join the RoadRace Factory this coming season! It’s exciting to get a great opportunity to come back stateside and ride in the new MotoAmerica series on a Yamaha R6.”

The resident of Thornbury Ontario Canada is once again honored to have Tim Hortons (Sudbury) franchisee Gilles Bolduc return as a personal sponsor for the fourth straight year. Also returning as a personal sponsor for 2015 is AXO America who’ll continue to outfit Young with their premium quality riding gear. Young adds RoadRace Factory team sponsor Bell Helmets to his notable list of partners for the coming season.

During the last two rounds of last year’s BSB Superstock 1000 Championship Young participated in the Laps 4 MD fundraising initiative in support of Muscular Dystrophy Canada. Young will continue his support in 2015 and“Race for the Cure” by donating one dollar for each lap lead in this year’s MotoAmerica Supersport races.
