CMRA raises the stakes CALGARY, ALBERTA, CANADA–Breathtaking speed and spills will lead to the highest motorcycle racing prize money payouts in Western Canada at Race City Motorsports Park this season. More than $6000 per weekend will be paid to the fastest of the two wheeled competitors braving the 190 mph straightaway and 100 mph curves of the fastest track in the west. The Calgary Motorcycle Roadracing Association (CMRA Canada, www.roadracing.org) is pleased to announce that in addition to a full season of high-speed thrills at Calgary’s Race City Motorsports Park (www.racecity.com) the highest overall prize money payouts in Western Canada and the Northwestern United States will be offered. While the riders get big money spectators get the best value in the city for their entertainment dollar at $10 a day per adult and FREE parking. The CMRA also offers Street and Race Riding Schools for those looking to improve their skills and safety on two wheels. A bargain at $175 and $200 CDN respectively, given the high quality curriculum and instruction. 2005 Dates Street School: May 31st, Classroom. June 1st and 2nd 5PM-9PM Track sessions. Race School: May 3rd, Classroom. May 4th and 5th 5PM-9PM Track sessions. Regional Round 1: May 14th -15th, Race City Motorsports Park.
