Team Sheriff Racing Presents 1st “Beat The Heat” Street-Legal Track Days August 2nd & 3rd, 2005, at Buttonwillow Raceway Park Team Sheriff Racing is pleased to announce that as part of the expansion of our “Beat The Heat” program, in partnership with Buttonwillow Raceway Park, MTC Trackday, and Take It 2 The Track, we are presenting the first “Beat The Heat” street-legal track days to help get street racers and sport riders on to the track. The “Beat The Heat” street-legal program is designed to provide an opportunity for those who have never been to the track to take their desire to push their machines to the limit on to the track and educate them about the dangers of canyon riding and the benefits of riding on the track. The two-day event will be held August 2-3, 2005, at Buttonwillow Raceway Park, in Buttonwillow, California, just North of Los Angeles. Thanks to the sponsors of this event, the cost has been drastically reduced to just $50 per day. These track days are the perfect opportunity for first time track riders to receive a fun and friendly orientation to the track. Although these days are not designed to be a cornering school, the instructors and control riders on hand will be comprised of expert level racers and certified MSF instructors. As an added bonus, participants will have the opportunity to ride on the track with professional AMA racers like Jason Curtis (No Limit Motorsports) and Jeffrey Tigert (TigerTeam Racing) who support our efforts in educating street racers and sport riders. And the best part is, there’s no need to worry about cops giving out tickets! In fact, the only tickets we’re giving out are the ones that enter the participants into the prize raffle! Participants can even ride with the cops on the track! In addition to the sponsors who will be at the track, there will also be short clinics presented by fire and law enforcement professionals to educate riders about the dangers of street racing and the benefits of racing/riding in a controlled track environment. Registration is limited, so register today!
