From a press release issued by Team Pro-Motion:

Enhanced Safety Program at Summit Point Raceway

After long negotiation Team Pro-Motion Sportbike Club was given the green flag to lead the way in providing a safer environment for motorcycle participants at Summit Point Raceway said Pro-Motions president Glen Goldman. Team Pro-Motion will now cover turn #4 of Summit Point titled “The Chute” with over 130 feet of newly acquired Alpina air modules.

“Pro-Motion will not only be using the new air modules for our own club events, as we have elected to provide any motorcycle racing organization who would like to utilize our safety program at no additional cost” said Goldman.

A special trained safety crew will be dispatched to set up, maintain and break down the safety modules upon the request of CCS, WERA, Formula USA and AHRMA, plus the program will be available for various other club events carrying a small fee.

Team Pro-Motion has over two years experience working with the Alpina air modules when a decision was made to enhance rider safety at their own club track events. George Benes the appointed safety director has been successful in seeing many walk away from what could have been much more serious injuries and situations. The team’s investment into rider safety will continue and will remain a top priority.
