TTXGP North American Championship Will Conclude Sept. 3-4 At Miller Motorsports Park

TTXGP confirms North American Final 2011 at the Miller Motorsport Park in association with the AMA Utah Sport Bike Association (UtahSBA) TTXGP, the world’s premier electric motorcycle championship is pleased to bring the North American Final 2011 to Miller Motorsports for the Labor Day weekend, Sept 3/4, 2011. A thrilling finale to the 2011 US season and qualification to the TTXGP World Championship Final 2011. In partnership with the Utah Sport Bike Association (UtahSBA), the FIM North American Union/AMA sanctioned TTXGP North American Final will crown the national champion for 2011. The TTXGP North America 2010 champions returns to defend the title but face considerable competition from Brammo who are currently leading the championship points table. 2010 champions, Lightning motorcycles team boss Richard Hatfield commented, “The Lightning team is looking forward to defending our title. We were on the podium in the last round at Laguna Seca despite having had the bikes back in the US only ten days prior and having just one-track session to prepare. We are excited for a rematch now both the TTXGP and TTX75 bikes are dialed in, and looking forward to the race.” “UtahSBA is honoured to have the TTXGP racing with us. The action concluded this weekend at Assen, with Round 3 of the TTXGP Euro Championship 2011 when a guest MotoGP rider Japser Iwema took to the TTXGP field on a 60,000 strong weekend as part of the new Gamma Racing Cup. Round 4 will be in Karlskoga, Sweden on Sept 3/4. Our penultimate Australian round will be over the same weekend at Wakefield.
