BREA, Calif. (May. 9, 2006) – American Suzuki Motor Corp. (ASMC) announced today that Suzuki is providing more than $12 million in contingency funds in six race disciplines for amateur and professional racers alike. The result is that all of Suzuki’s motocross, supercross, off-road, road racing, drag racing or flat-track racers are eligible to earn contingency money in their respective sports. In order to qualify for Suzuki’s contingency program, Suzuki riders can access the easy-to-use registration form online at teamsuzuki.com. All racers who’ve earned money with the Suzuki contingency program will receive a Value-Added Contingency Card. Throughout the year, Suzuki will simply credit the card as racers compete in and win races. Pro racers can use the card like a credit card anywhere that Visa ® is accepted, including ATM machines. Amateur racers can redeem the cards at any authorized Suzuki dealership.
