Stratos Team And Melissa Paris Ready For FIM Repsol CEV Round Two This Coming Weekend At Motorland Aragon

Stratos Team ready for landing at Motorland

The team from Madrid goes to the second round of the season with a good feeling after good results in previous test. Both, Superbikes and Moto2/STK600 riders will have a double race at Aragon.

Almost two months have passed since the first race of the season for the FIM CEV riders from Stratos Team. However, this period of time wasn´t for holidays because both, riders and the the rest of the team have taken time to keep working to arrive at MotorLand Aragon in the best conditions. Both Moto2/STK600 and Superbikes classes will face a double race on Sunday that will test their physical strength.

In Moto2 , Russell Gomez arrives with the intention of fighting for the victory in both races, and to put the Ariane2 ranked the best as possible in the intermediate class. Meanwhile Alejandro Medina will attempt to reappear in the best possible form after a long convalescence that has led him away from the tracks for more than two months, after breaking his right collarbone. Luca Vitali arrives to a known track, but with a different layout, because he raced in WSBK specifications track, despite this, the Italian was able to ride strong in the previous test with the Ariane Moto2 and quickly learn the track for fight to earn his first championship points.

Melissa Paris arrives in the Aragon´s track with the revenge intention from the crashes that prevented her from striving to be one of the best riders of SSTK600 class at Jerez. The American rider continues working hard and took advantage of her stay in Spain for testing in the rest of the tracks of the FIM CEV to know them for future rounds.

Santi Barragan, first rider of the team in Superbike class, reaches the second round of the year plenty of moral and as one of the favorites to win after his second place in the race at Jerez and the great lap times in the test at Motorland las week with the Kawasaki ZX10R.

Private rider Niko Makinen faces his second race in Superbikes integrated into the Nikoracing – Stratos Junior Team. The Finnish rider look to finish in top 15, goal that he was near at Jerez because he finished in 17th place .

Team Stratos will feature in their hospitality the London Coffee Service. The Spanish chain franchises bet strong for motorcycle races and they will serve exclusive meals for all Stratos team members during the long and intense days of racing. Thus www.londoncafe.com joins the Stratos Racing Team in their fight for the FIM CEV Repsol.

As usual, the entrance to the paddock will be free to fans during Saturday and Sunday. Already on race day will be a pit- lane walk and at the end of the races, track will open to ride two laps with street bikes.
