Show Us Your Rides, Part 38: Boelo Lussenburg Jr.

This off-season we’re running a series showing your motorcycles, starting with your racebike or track-day bike. But not just your road racing or track-day bike, but also your streetbike, motocross bike, dirt bike, pit bike, mini bike, trials bike, land-speed bike, drag bike, speedway bike, whatever you’ve got. If you have more than one bike, send photos of them all–alone or with you! Include your city, state and a few facts about what you do. Send in-focus bike photos (as jpeg files) along with the make, model and year of each bike and your name, age, racing or track-day organization (if applicable), city and state, plus the name of the photographer, to [email protected]. By sending us the photos, you are certifying that you own the rights to the photos and are giving us permission to feature them on roadracingworld.com. They may be posted on roadracingworld.com during slow news days.

Many more riders have sent in photos and info than we anticipated, and to deal with the flood of applications, we’re giving preference to people who have set up a rider profile on roadracingworld.com, here: https://www.roadracingworld.com/signup/

Seen here in our 38th installment are photos sent in by CCS Florida racer Boelo Lussenburg Jr., age 17, originally from the Netherlands (Holland) and now living in Fort Lauderdale, Florida. Lussenburg writes, “I love this segment and I thought I’d give it a try and see if I can make it. I race the CCS series with my dad, Boelo Lussenburg Sr. It’s amazing being able to share the passion of racing with my dad and has made a very strong bond between us. I’m about to start my first Expert year, after winning three (Amateur) National titles in Daytona on my Lightweight bike, a Ducati Paul Smart 1000 built by MotoCorse Performance.

“My dad won the Expert Formula 40 Lightweight last season, and hopes to do it again this year. We both ride the Ducati Paul Smart 1000, with the only difference being mine has an orange frame and his is red. I also ride a Ducati 848. My dad rides a Ducati Panigale 1199S and a Ducati 888. The photos were taken by Lisa Theobald, Andres Cuellar, Ricks Pics and Dennis Clark.”
