Hunter Sills Racing and Lauren Franco Providing Scholarship To Shelina Moreda’s Girlz MotoCamp

SHELINA MOREDA’S GIRLZ MOTOCAMPS, HUNTER SILLS RACING AND LAUREN FRANCO WORK TOGETHER TO PROVIDE OPPORTUNITIES TO CHASE DREAMS

Girl’z MotoCamps by Shelina Moreda has new Scholarship providers – Hunter Sills Racing and Lauren Franco have each put up scholarships for riders to attend the upcoming Mid-America Girlz MotoCamp from October 24 – 26. Girlz MotoCamps, Hunter Sills Racing, and Lauren Franco are accepting applications for the scholarships through Friday, September 27.

The target audience for the scholarships are females who can use some financial assistance to get to the camp. The goal is for Girlz MotoCamps to be available to all females who want to improve their riding or learn to ride, and get the training they need to be confident on a motorcycle.

Applicants are encouraged to enter via the Girlz Moto Camps Facebook page www.facebook.com/GirlzMotoCamps or by email at [email protected].

Lauren Franco, Scholarship Sponsor, said of her contribution “I would Love to change the confidence in one person. Especially through dirt bike riding”.

Shelina Moreda – Girlz MotoCamps Owner:

“It’s not just riding dirt bikes. It’s a whole experience. It builds confidence, self-empowerment, endurance and strength. One of my favorite things about the camps are the bonds they also build, the students walk away with new friends, new goals, and big smiles.”

“The scholarships that we can offer for Girlz MotoCamps through companies like Hunter Sills Racing and individuals like Lauren Franco are important because they help inspire people to chase and realize their dreams.”

About Girlz MotoCamps: The camps are one of a kind, instructed by some top female racers, teaching motorcycle skills, not just one form of riding. They are intended to promote females being comfortable around bikes, which is a stepping stone to bring more riders into motorcycling, both male and female. At least one student from each of their camps has went out and purchased a motorcycle immediately following her attending the camp. There have also been several students from the camps who have gone on to do their first races after attending the camps. With professional instructors from every form of racing, Girlz MotoCamps improve every level of rider, from complete beginner to pro racer.

About Hunter Sills Racing: Erin Hunter and Andy Sills are avid high-speed riders with a combined 20 years of Landspeed Racing (“LSR”) competition. Together, Erin and Andy have achieved 23 world and national landspeed records with streamliner motorcycles as well as “traditional” race bikes. They also hold two Guinness World Records and have each reached the 200mph milestone as landspeed racers (top average mile to-date is 227mph.)

Girlz MotoCamps gets companies involved who support females in motorsports. Just one way they do this is by offering sponsorships to the camp in the name of the company, in the form of scholarships. If you would like to become involved in supporting female riders, email [email protected]
