Red Bull MotoGP Of The Americas: Turn 1 And 15 Reserved Seats Nearly Sold Out

2013 MotoGP™ season gets underway this weekend with race in Qatar AUSTIN, Texas (April 3, 2013) – Circuit of The Americas today announced that reserved seats in two of the venue’s most popular seating areas, Turn 1 and Turn 15, are nearly sold out with only a few hundred seats left in these grandstands just two weeks before the inaugural Red Bull MotoGP of The Americas. The MotoGP™ World Championship event, featuring races from the MotoGP, Moto2 and Moto3 divisions, will bring the very best international motorcycle racers to Austin, Texas, for a three-day sports and entertainment celebration at the United States’ only purpose-built Grand Prix facility. U.S. fans continue to have national rooting interests in the three American riders competing this season: Texans Colin Edwards and Ben Spies and 2006 MotoGP World Champion Nicky Hayden of Kentucky. Tickets for the Red Bull Grand Prix of The Americas can be purchased in advance at www.circuitoftheamericas.com/moto-gp and on site each day of the event at the Circuit’s Grand Plaza ticket office. Reserved seats range in price from $133 to $179 per person. Three-day general admission tickets are $89 per person or $49 per person for college students and military personnel who present a valid student or military ID card. Children aged 12 and under will receive free general admission passes when accompanied by an adult with paid admission. Patrons with Circuit of The Americas Personal Seat Licenses receive price discounts on MotoGP tickets. One of the most anticipated MotoGP World Championship seasons in years gets underway this weekend, as the 2013 schedule opens with the Commercial Bank Grand Prix of Qatar. Fans can catch the action on SPEED this Sunday, April 7, at 2 p.m. CDT, and see if Yamaha Factory Racing’s reigning world champion Jorge Lorenzo can defend his title against returning teammate Valentino Rossi and Repsol Honda Team rival Dani Pedrosa.
