Dominant Italian, British and American sports-racers come to market on January 25th at The Rio

Los Angeles — On Thursday, January 25th at The Rio Hotel & Casino, Bonhams Auctioneers will offer an incredible selection of rare, historic and highly collectible sports and racing motorcycles.

Included are stunning Italian examples from the late Jack Silverman’s Silverman Museum Racing Collection, one of the most prestigious private collections of its kind in the world. Highlights include the 1958 Ducati 125 GP and the 1954 Ducati 125 Marianna Sport, among others.

From the stables of renowned Team Obsolete is the legendary ex-Vance Breese, factory assisted c.1973/1980 Harley-Davidson XRTT known as Goliath. Respected Harley tuner Duncan Keller of Yankee Enginuity who rebuilt and restored this racer will be in attendance to speak to interested bidders.

British motorcycles too will be well represented with such illustrious machines as the 1955 Matchless G45 ridden by South African champion Beppe Castellani, and the 1962 Norton Petty-Molnar Manx, among others.
