R.I.P. Colin Edwards, Sr.

Colin Edwards, Sr., father of AMA Pro, World Superbike and MotoGP racer Colin Edwards II, died in Conroe, Texas on the evening of September  17th. 

Edwards Sr. was an ardent supporter and sponsor of his son, who began racing in motocross before moving into road racing. Colin Edwards II started in the AMA Pro series racing a Yamaha TZ250, moved into AMA Superbike and went on to win the Superbike World Championship twice.
