Pirelli Extends Partnership With WERA National Challenge Series
ROME, Ga. (April 19, 2017) – Pirelli motorcycle tires has extended its partnership to continue as a title sponsor for the 2017 WERA National Challenge Series. Pirelli remains at the forefront of road racing worldwide and is dedicated to supporting grassroots series’ for racers who are relatively new to the sport, as well as those who boast years of experience at the expert level. For 2017, the WERA National Challenge Series will feature eight rounds of intense action at some of the most legendary circuits in North America.

WERA was founded in 1974 and is one of the oldest sanctioning bodies conducting motorcycle races at road courses in the United States, catering to racers at any level. From the current crop of superbikes, to mini bikes, and old school vintage, there is a class suitable for everyone. The second round of the season is set to kick off April 22-23 at Talladega Gran Prix Raceway in Munford, Alabama, while the final showdown is scheduled to take place November 2-5 at the world renowned Barber Motorsports Park in Leeds, Alabama.
On the track, Pirelli has a strong selection of tires that offer the optimum level of performance for all bikes, skill levels, weather conditions, and asphalt surfaces.
