Empower Your Future, a 501(c)(3) Not For Profit charity, along with Motion CycleSports Yamaha and Moto Liberty in Dallas, Texas are proud to announce their sponsorship of the Junior Motard class in the Central Motorcycle Roadracing Association (CMRA) throughout the 2006 season. Through Empower Your Future, Motion CycleSports Yamaha will provide gift certificates at each race during the year to participants in the Junior Motard class, where 8 to 12-year-old beginners can experience the excitement of competition. In addition, Empower Your Future will sponsor Esteban Sanchez, an 11-year-old Dallas inner city youth, in the class and help him to GET ON, STAY ON, AND RIDE ON THE RIGHT PATHS OF LIFE. Motion CycleSports Yamaha will provide a Yamaha TTR90 for him to race while Moto Liberty will provide him with racing leathers and gear to wear. Empower Your Future is in its sixth year of motivating inner city youth to endure, persevere, and get an education so that they are not limited in life and can be productive citizens. Empower Your Future targets 6th grade students with three days of guest speakers, including a day of a motorcycle rodeo and barbeque provided by Dickey’s BBQ, a local Dallas chain. Empower Your Future was founded and is directed by Joe Chatham, a Dallas Police Motorcycle Officer and CMRA racer. For more information, please visit www.empoweryourfuture.org.
