American Honda Superbike tuner David McGrath will be spending more time at home and less time on the road following wife Lisa Marie’s recent delivery of triplets. “I am very fortunate to be working for a company that has bent over backwards enabling me to modify my responsibilities here at Honda,” McGarth e-mailed to Roadracingworld.com. “After working with Kurtis (Roberts) for three years and last year with Jake (Zemke) – Honda gave me the choice of position and direction I wanted to pursue this coming year and perhaps future seasons. I am in-house working on Superbike development which covers everything from engine management, dyno thrashing, to on-track chassis development. “Although I feel I had some unfinished business working with Jake on the Superbike, my new position allows me to stay closer to home, particularly in these first critical months with the new family.”
