Dave Brite and Richie Morris announced today the partnership of their respective race teams (Triple Crown Industries/Richie Morris Racing) for the upcoming 2013 AMA Pro Road Racing season and beyond. The team plans to field bikes with multiple riders in 3 classes next season. “Our goal is to have at least 2 riders in Daytona Sportbike and have race ready bikes available for up and coming Super Sport riders. We are also working on a Vance and Hines XR1200 program. Look for the return of the Bruce Rossmeyer brand back in the Harley class with more bikes available for independent riders,” said Richie Morris. Triple Crown Industries made 5 trips to the podium in the Supersport class and capped the 2012 season with a strong podium finish at NOLA Motorsports Park in the Daytona Sportbike class. Meanwhile, Richie Morris Racing sat out the 2012 AMA Pro Racing season after winning 2 National Daytona Sportbike Championships and 2 National XR1200 Championships from 2009 to 2011. “I am extremely pleased with the partnership. Richie and I compliment each other very well. The team has great momentum going into the 2013 season. With the speed of our growth over the past 2 seasons and the experience that comes from RMR we will be a winning combination for many years to come,” said Dave Brite. Team sponsors, riders, and motorcycle manufacturer will be announced at a later date. However, the team plans to start testing in November. “I pay close attention to all forms of racing,” added Morris. “This model has proven effective in other motorsports. Ultimately, two teams that combine strengths and resources will grow stronger. I have watched the Triple Crown team the past few years and have been very impressed with their growth and presence in the paddock. Dave and I have the same desire to win races and championships while building a long term program.” All team website, social media, and contact information will be available in November.
