Motorcycle Manufacturers To Cooperate In Japanese Bike Recycling Scheme

According to news reports in Japan, motorcycle manufacturers selling bikes in the island country are cooperating in setting up a recycling program for scrapped motorcycles.

Scrapped bikes will be shipped to collection centers, where they will be dismantled and component parts recycled.

Participating manufacturers in the program, which will go into effect in October, include Aprilia, BMW, Ducati, Honda, Kawasaki, Kymco, Suzuki and Yamaha.
