MotoAmerica, Parts Unlimited Set For 2018

Fan Appreciation Stage To Expand To Seven Events

COSTA MESA, CA (January 31, 2018) – For a third straight season, distributing giant Parts Unlimited will be an Associate Sponsor of the 2018 MotoAmerica Series with two more events added to the schedule for the popular Parts Unlimited Fan Appreciation Stage.

The Parts Unlimited Fan Appreciation Stage was in the paddock at five of the MotoAmerica rounds in 2017 and its popularity with fans created the need to have it featured at seven events this season. Last year, the stage hosted spectators and Parts Unlimited VIPs at Road America, Barber Motorsports Park, Sonoma Raceway, Pittsburgh International Race Complex and New Jersey Motorsports Park. For 2018, the series opener at Road Atlanta has been added along with round three at VIRginia International Raceway.

“We like seeing the positive steps that MotoAmerica has taken with the Superbike Championship and we want to continue to be a part of their growth,” said Hylton Beattie, Parts Unlimited’s Global Motorsports Director. “Last year we saw the debut of the Parts Unlimited Fan Appreciation Stage and the area proved to be a popular place for MotoAmerica fans to visit and for us to host our VIP dealers. This year we are stepping up to add two more events and bigger and better is the theme for 2018. We look forward to seeing you at the MotoAmerica races this year as it promises to be the best season yet. We’re happy to be a part of it.”

“Our partnership with Parts Unlimited is now entering year three and our relationship with them continues to grow as we work together to make the MotoAmerica Series the best that it can be,” said MotoAmerica President Wayne Rainey. “The Parts Unlimited Fan Appreciation Stage was popular with our fans last year so we’ve added the stage/hospitality area to two more of our events for the 2018 season. We continue to strive towards making our events bigger and better and Parts Unlimited is a big part of that.”
