The practice was originally scheduled for 20 minutes, but was cut to a total of 9-1/2 minutes due to oil spilled in turn 10, from Jason Curtis’ GSX-R1000. The practice was run in two segments, 4-1/2 minutes before the oil spill, and 5 minutes after the oil spill was cleaned up.
