The absence of Pirelli racing tire vendor Wheel 2 Wheel at the final WSMC race of the 2005 season has boosted sales for other tire vendors, with Michelin posting the largest percentage sales increase. Michelin vendor Dale Kieffer of Racers Edge reports that his sales on Saturday were up 30% compared to this same weekend last year. Dunlop vendor Dennis Smith of Sport Tire Services reported that his sales were a little ahead of normal compared to last year, but pointed out that there was no Pirelli vendor at Willow Springs in December of 2004, either. New Bridgestone vendor John-Mark Arechiga of Little Big Racing Services said that his sales were running ahead of projections.
