Cagiva USA, the exclusive importer of Cagiva, Husqvarna and MV Agusta motorcycles, will unveil the highly anticipated MV Agusta Brutale 910R Naked Superbike and the special limited-production F4 SENNA-1000 this weekend, January 20th 22nd, during the Cycle World International Motorcycle Show at New York City’s Jacob K. Javits Center. MV Agusta owners presenting their key will gain exclusive access to a reserved area featuring MV Agusta President Claudio Castiglioni’s personal F4 SENNA-1000 (number 1 of 300) and the first production Brutale 910R. (A press only preview will be held on Friday, January 20th at 10:20 AM.) The growing popularity of naked style motorcycles has manufacturers scrambling to produce their best streetfighter contender. The MV Agusta Brutale 910R Naked Superbike delivers a knockout blow to the competition with its unparalleled Italian style, uncontested exclusivity, and a class leading 137HP. The special ‘R’ version is at home on both the street and racetrack. Assembled with the finest components available throughout, it also includes a separate ‘race use only’ exhaust system, which brings power output to a staggering 144 HP. To harness this enormous power, the Brutale 910R features exclusive Brembo ‘Brutale’ radial-mount brake calipers fitted to the latest 50mm Marzocchi Magnum R.A.C. (Road Advanced Component) forks. MV Agusta’s composite frame “” a marriage of aluminum side plates and a TIG welded CrMo trellis main frame “” ensures peerless stability and handling, while revealing the signature gloss red valve cover that hints at the 910R’s unique capabilities. A unique pair of Brembo lightweight forged aluminum Y-spoke wheels complete the package. An inspired tribute to the Formula One Racing Legend, Ayrton Senna, the MV Agusta F4 SENNA-1000 reaches new heights of performance and capability. Endowed with a 174HP 998cc in-line four-cylinder engine, top shelf braking and suspension components, and highly advanced fuel injection technology, the F4 SENNA-1000 possesses all the key elements of a world class superbike. The extreme high performance of the SENNA is masterfully managed by radial mount Brembo calipers perched upon 50mm Marzocchi Magnum R.A.C. forks. A F1 derived SACHS rear shock ensures its ample horsepower and torque is transmitted firmly to the ground. With only 300 units to be produced worldwide, and not more than 65 destined for the US market, there can be little doubt about the exclusivity of this very special motorcycle. “The SENNA-1000 and Brutale 910R secure MV Agusta’s position as the premier Italian brand in design, performance, and exclusivity.” states Larry Ferracci, Cagiva USA COO/Director of Operations, who will be on site for interviews. MV Agusta USA General Manager, Matthew Stutzman will present the two new models and will be on hand to answer questions. Visitors to the exhibit will also have an opportunity to preview the latest apparel from MV Agusta and MV Agusta Corse, with informal fashion shows throughout the weekend.
