LeoVince Exhaust Announces Sponsored Riders, Teams

LEO VINCE EXHAUST SYSTEMS ANNOUNCES U.S. RACE TEAM PARTNERS FOR 2005 LeoVince USA announced today the teams that will be competing with LeoVince exhaust systems in a variety of championship series across the United States. LeoVince SBK systems for sportbikes will be represented in AMA, Formula USA and WERA national road race championships, while LeoVince X3 systems will be used in the AMA Supercross, Motocross, Supermoto and Flat Track series, as well as AMA Four-Stroke, GNCC and WORCS series races. “LeoVince is going racing in a big way this year in the U.S.,” said Tim Calhoun, sales and marketing manager for LeoVince USA. “We’ve partnered with a lot of great teams and riders, and we’re working with them to design and develop products specifically for the American market. We’re relatively new to the U.S., but we want racers and fans alike to experience the performance and quality that’s made LeoVince SBK the premier exhaust system manufacturer in Europe for over 50 years.” In AMA road race, LeoVince has partnered with several teams, including the Millennium KWS Suzuki team with riders Lee Acree and Blake Young, Hotbodies Racing Honda with Larry Pegram and Jeremy Toye, and the MPTRacing.com/JC Baldwin Suzuki team of Danny Eslick and Jeremiah Johnson, who will also provide trackside support at all AMA road races. In addition, all riders on the Team Hotbodies Racing privateer team will use LeoVince SBK exhausts on their individual machines. Team Xtreme/Maxxis will contest the WERA National Endurance Series in the ultra-competitive Heavyweight Superstock class with riders Mark Edwards, Billy Ethridge and Jeff Walker, while Darren Luck of Lucky Racing will compete in the entire Formula USA Series in 2005. On the off-road side, Team Bikesellerz.com will compete in all AMA Supercross and Motocross Series events in the 250 and 125 classes with riders Willy Browning, Ted Campbell, Jeremy Chaussee, Robb Floth and Chris Whitcraft, while providing trackside support to all LeoVince riders throughout the season. LeoVince has partnered with Team Suzuki Flat Track to contest the AMA Flat Track Championship with riders Jake Johnson and Kevin Varnes on single-cylinder Short Track and V-twin-based GNC machines, engineering exhaust system solutions specifically for flat track. With SuperMoto growing in popularity, LeoVince is negotiating with several top teams for the 2005 season, and will announce plans when they are finalized. In addition to directly supported teams, LeoVince USA has posted over $460,000 in contingency awards in Flat Track, Motocross, Road Race, Supercross and SuperMoto series across the country for riders using LeoVince exhaust systems.
