Lorenzo Lanzi has been operated today by the Imola Central Hospital from professor Vincenzi on the left collarbone broken last Sunday at Valencia in the accident occurred during Race-1 first lap. The unlucky rider by Team SC Caracchi was hidden by the wild running bike of Neukirchner, fallen just behind him. The surgeon inserted a metallic plaque to the collarbone and Lorenzo will let tomorrow the hospital to return home. Lanzi will be present at Monza’s round next May 8th, also if he’ll be not of course 100% out of his normal fit state. Valencia’s round has been particularly unlucky for Lorenzo Lanzi who, after the difficulties of the first two championship’s rounds, challenged finally his first Superpole and, looking at the very good pace shown both in practice as in the warm up, he could be one of the possible heroes of the race day.
