Proton Team KR MotoGP rider Kurtis Roberts is scheduled to have surgery on his fractured left wrist today.

Roberts is slated to have the surgery performed by famed orthopedic surgeon Dr. Arthur Ting in Fremont, California.

The second son of Kenny Leroy Roberts fractured his wrist, and his left elbow, in a crash during final qualifying at the Czech Republic Grand Prix at Brno August 21.

Kurtis Roberts was not available for comment.
