The 53-foot Featherlite trailer belonging to Jason Pridmore’s STAR School was stolen sometime between Sunday evening, September 1 and Tuesday morning, September 3, in Buena Park, California. “We did a big two-day event for the U.S. Marines last week out at Chuckwalla [Valley Raceway],” former AMA Pro 750cc Supersport and Formula Xtreme Champion Pridmore told Roadracingworld.com Tuesday. “Our generator broke, so our air conditioning wouldn’t work and we couldn’t get our back door down to get all of our bikes on. “Normally, we just house the thing out at Chuckwalla during these months, but Mark [Gallardo, Pridmore’s business partner] brought it home to get the generator fixed. We parked it near our office in Buena Park.” Pridmore said his rented tractor and unmarked white trailer, along with two other semi-trucks and trailers, were stolen from the same area sometime between Sunday evening and Tuesday morning, “because Mark was at the truck on Sunday.” Asked what was inside the trailer at the time, Pridmore said, “Everything we have is inside the trailer: our bikes, tire changing machine, all of our Dainese leathers, all of our AGV helmets, Dunlop Sportmax Q2 and Q3 tires. All of our equipment is in the trailer, everything.” A total of 14 motorcycles were in the trailer, including: two blue 2013-model Suzuki GSX-R1000s, one blue 2011-model Suzuki GSX-R1000, one white 2011-model Suzuki GSX-R600, three black 2011-model Suzuki GSX-R750s, two blue 2011-model Suzuki GSX-R750s, one black 2009-model Suzuki GSX-R750, three 2009-model Suzuki SV650s and a 2012-model Ducati 1199 Panigale belonging to a customer. “The only saving grace about the thing is the [rear lift] door is pretty impossible to get open right now because the generator doesn’t work,” said Pridmore. “So you can’t open the back door, and most of the bikes are on the top floor. But who knows where the thing is at this point.” Asked how this will impact STAR School operations, Pridmore said, “That’s what we’re still trying to figure out right now, because I’ve got one-on-one [schools] this weekend at Chuckwalla and we’ve got big schools up in Washington next week. Honestly, I don’t know.” Anyone with information on the whereabouts of the trailer or its contents are asked to call the Buena Park (California) Police Department at (714) 562-3901.
