Infineon Raceway Opens Box Office for 2004 Race Tickets, Friday Nov. 21

FANS GET NASCAR PIT PASS WITH 2004 SEASON-TICKET PACKAGE

SONOMA, Calif. (IMMEDIATE RELEASE) — Infineon Raceway is not only offering tremendous value for race fans purchasing a season-ticket package for the 2004 motor racing season, it is also giving them a coveted NASCAR Pit Pass for the NASCAR NEXTEL Cup weekend.

It’s all part of the upcoming 2004 Big O Tires Racing Season, which kicks off in earnest on Friday, Nov. 21, as Infineon Raceway officially opens its ticket windows to the public. The new season will be headlined by the NASCAR Dodge/Save Mart 350, presented by Snap-On Tools (June 25-27) and the NHRA POWERade Drag Racing Series FRAM Autolite Nationals, presented by Supercuts (July 30-Aug. 1).

The biggest savings for 2004 will come with a season-ticket package, which will cost $395, a $130 savings over the same package in 2003. Plus, you’ll get a NASCAR Pit Pass that will allow access to cold pit lane at designated times over the weekend (this pass will not allow entry into the NASCAR garage). In addition, you will receive premium reserved seats to NASCAR and NHRA, tickets to the remaining five major-event weekends planned for 2004, a raceway hard card, and preferred parking.

Individual race tickets for all events on the 2004 major-event calendar will be available beginning Nov. 21, including the AMA Kawasaki Showdown (April 30-May 2), featuring the Supercuts Superbike Challenge, and the Infineon Grand Prix of Sonoma American Le Mans Series (July 16-18), presented by Napa Valley Marriott Hotel & Spa. Infineon Raceway will also feature the best in vintage automobile racing and the Team Superstores NHRA Division 7 Summernationals.

The popular “Ride the Bus” program returns for a second consecutive year at NASCAR, offering fans an alternative to driving on race day (June 27). For $125, fans will get a premium reserved seat for Sunday’s race in the location of their choice, complimentary soft drinks aboard the bus, an Infineon Raceway gift pack and transportation to/from the raceway. Nearly 2,000 fans opted for the “Ride the Bus” program in 2003, and more are expected in 2004. Pickup locations for next season are:

Diablo Valley Community College, Pleasant Hill (Contra Costa County).

Solano Community College, Suisun (Solano County).

Fireman’s Fund, Novato (Marin County).

Sonoma State University, Rohnert Park (Sonoma County).

If you have already purchased your event ticket, you can ride the bus for just $35.

Another great package for the NASCAR weekend is the Raceway Club, which affords the following amenities for just $225:

Reserved terrace seating in Turn 7 for the entire weekend (Friday-Sunday).

Access to Raceway Club Hospitality Pavilion in Turn 7, which includes a catered lunch on Saturday and Sunday of race weekend, and complimentary soft drinks.

Preferred parking pass.

Commemorative race program, credential holder and closed circuit television.
