Motorcycle demo rides, interactive displays among promotions set for 2015 MotoGP Red Bull Grand Prix of The Americas

Multiple event sponsors to have promotions throughout Circuit of The Americas all weekend long

AUSTIN, Texas (April 6, 2015) — Circuit of The Americas (COTA) is delighted to announce its partnership with multiple sponsors during the 2015 MotoGP event, the Red Bull Grand Prix of The Americas, April 10-12 at Circuit of The Americas. Supporting sponsors include GEICO, Honda, Yamaha, Suzuki, BMW Motorrad, KTM, Aprilia, Moto Guzzi, Victory, Harley-Davidson, Crown Royal, Texas Lotto, Topo Chico, TxDOT, Bridgestone, and more.

During the event weekend, fans can take advantage of the GEICO Motorcycle Parking, where free parking will be provided in lots B and D for all fans who ride their motorcycles.

Multiple motorcycle manufacturers will offer demonstration rides across their range of 2015 models. The demo rides will be held all three days of the Red Bull Grand Prix of The Americas and will provide riders 18 years of age or older with an exhilarating opportunity to go on a 30-minute controlled ride through the beautiful back roads surrounding COTA.

The demonstration rides will begin at Turn 19 for Yamaha, Suzuki and Honda, and the Support Paddock for Victory and Harley-Davidson. Fans will be required to register, participate in a pre-ride safety briefing and wear the standard protective gear including: a DOT-approved helmet, eye protection, long sleeve shirt or jacket, long pants, full-finger gloves and over-the-ankle protective foot wear for the ride.

In addition, fans can expect to find plenty of entertainment and interactive promotions for the whole family throughout the Support Paddock and Grand Plaza. Red Bull, the event title sponsor, will provide an exciting array of fan entertainment throughout the support paddock, featuring Red Bull stunt performers Geoff Aaron and Aaron Colton, the Red Bull scenic cruiser and the latest Red Bull merchandise.

Themed bars and interactive promotions from premier sponsors like Crown Royal, Texas Lotto, Topo Chico, Bridgestone and TxDOT will decorate the Grand Plaza and fan areas. Ducati Island, Ducati’s premier showcase for fans, will feature live music and a stunning display of bikes and interactive promotions in the Grand Plaza.

General admission tickets start at $39 for single-day Friday passes, and $89 for three-day passes. Great reserved seat tickets and hospitality packages are also still available and start at $59 for single-day Main Grandstand tickets, and $139 for three-day Turn 1 and Main Grandstand tickets.
