Master Wrench Will Eikenberry leaves California Superbike School after 23 years.

The California Superbikes School’s iconic master-wrench, Will Eikenberry, has put in his 20 + years of servicing the school’s fleets and traveling around the country to its many track locations and is announcing his retirement.

“There isn’t another job like this one in the world and I’m sad to leave but after over 2 decades I feel the need for change. Beside working with such a tightly knit group as the school staff, I’ve gotten to meet literally tens of thousands of enthusiasts who were only interested in improving their riding. Helping them with their own bikes and providing them with perfectly prepped bikes is itself a challenge but has been totally rewarding. I’m looking for someone now to fill my shoes as chief mechanic,” said Eikenberry.

Keith Code comments: “Will is going to be a hard act to follow. I’ve never met any wrench who has a wider range of mechanical skills: I mean, he can fabricate anything and I know of very few who can diagnose problems or put a damaged bike back to perfect quicker than him. Besides that, only pro riders are faster around race tracks. I’m hoping there is someone out there who can do his job, we just haven’t found them yet.”
