EDR Continues growth with addition of GM EDR Performance welcomes another addition to their already outstanding crew, Jay Kallberg Many of EDR’s longtime customers and racers will no doubt recognize Jay’s name as he has worked with EDR Performance since the late 90’s. Unfortunately a few years ago Jay moved and was not able to continue on with EDR. Luckily, he and his family have moved back closer to EDR Performance’s Beaverton [Oregon] location. When EDR Performance owner/founder Eric Dorn realized he needed help managing their ever increasing business, he said, “I want someone that is very motivated, extremely customer oriented and hardworking. We need someone that can not only fill the role of an occasional fourth tech, but someone to actually help manage our quickly growing business. It is hard to believe how far EDR has come since I started it in the 90’s, but one person can no longer run this large of an operation anymore. Jay and I have worked together for nearly 15 years. He has seen EDR grow and been a part of nearly every aspect of my business, so when it became apparent he was available and wanting to fill this role, it just seemed like a perfect fit.” “I am really excited to be coming back with EDR,” said Jay Kallberg. “I have always been so passionate about motorcycles and after leaving realized they’re a big part of my life that I was missing. I am beyond impressed with how far Eric has taken EDR Performance from just one man operation, as well as, the work the entire crew have done just in the last few years. I really can’t wait to get started and help take things to the next level with them.” In addition to working alongside Eric for nearly 15 years both at the shop and at the track, Jay also has worked with current crew members Ben Waller, Gary Guinn and Nolan Igarashi over the years, which is critical as they really are more of a family than a group of employees. Everyone at EDR Performance is excited to be adding another dedicated, quality person to their already outstanding crew. With this addition, EDR will be able to further better their customer relationships, servicing of your motorcycles, street or track, as well as, being able to provide even more at track support around the country. Jay will also play a role in EDR’s 2014 plans for upcoming projects, bike builds, and soon to be released EDR-designed and -developed products.
