DUCATI MOTOR HOLDING REORGANIZES MANAGEMENT TEAM TO MEET NEW OPPORTUNITIES.

Cupertino, CA – October 29th , 2004 – In recognition of the new opportunities for Ducati in Asia, Mirko Bordiga, formerly Commercial Director of Sales, has accepted the assignment to lead business development for the company in that region.

Mr. Bordiga will relocate to Tokyo, and additionally assist Mr. Fabrizio Cazzoli, Ducati Japan Country Manager. Mr. Cazzoli, who just recently assumed responsibilities for the management of Ducati Japan, will continue to be directly responsible for the company’s operation in this very important market.

The new Commercial Director will be Cristiano Silei, formerly Director of Strategic Planning and Product Development. Mr. Silei, a member of the original management team from the company’s IPO days, has a wide range of experience and a deep understanding of all markets in which Ducati competes.

Claudio Domenicali, while retaining his role as CEO of Ducati Corse, will also take over the position of Director of Strategic Planning and Product Development at DMH.

“Claudio retains control of Corse and his appointment to strategic planning will help cement the link between race technology and street bike development,” said Federico Minoli, CEO of DMH. “This is at the core of who we are and with a new MotoGP replica coming in 06, and many other exciting new projects to follow, Claudio’s involvement should ensure we stay at the front of the pack.”

All changes are effectively immediately.
