KTM CUP RACER NICK DOOLAN TO RACE MOTOAMERICA SUPERSTOCK 600 IN 2016

Nick Doolan, a 2015 MotoAmerica KTM RC390 Cup competitor, will be competing in the 2016 Superstock 600 class riding a Lone Star Track Days Racing Yamaha R6. In MotoAmerica’s inaugural KTM RC390 Cup class, Nick finished 13th for the season out of 32 competitors.

“Last year was a great experience.” said Doolan. “I learned new tracks, raced against new competitors, and it was fantastic as an entry into professional racing. I’m really looking forward to riding a 600, which fits my size. At 5′-11″, I’m a tall racer. I have been training all winter, riding my dirt and mountain bike, and I am also working with Jason Pridmore this season as my rider coach, which is great. The team has also hired James Lee to be my crew chief for the season. I’ve worked with James in the past, and we really work well together.”

For the 2016 season, Nick is proud to have support from Mom and Dad as well as sponsors Lone Star Track Days Racing, Single Source, Moto D, Vortex, Comet Racing Leathers, Motonation, Sidi Boots, M4 Exhaust, Redline Graphics, Dunlop Tires, James Compton Race Services, Venhill Brake Lines, BD Racing, Vesrah Brakes and Colin Edwards Texas Tornado Boot Camp.
