HSBK Racing Unveils Livery and Rider Dustin Dominguez for 2014 AMA Season
(Houston, TX) After much anticipation, HSBK Racing unveiled their 2014 livery and rider Dustin Dominguez as their pilot Friday night (February 7) at their Houston dealership. Dominguez will be riding in the Supersport class on a HSBK-prepped 2014 Yamaha YZF-R6.
“We have learned so much in our first two years of racing in the AMA. We feel very prepared for the season with an incredible bike, top of the line sponsors and a super talented rider,” commented Team Proprietor, Bobby Shek.
Dominguez comes to the team with nearly 30 regional championships, multiple AMA Supersport wins, multiple track records and as an established rising talent and top contender for the Supersport Championship in 2014. Last year he was introduced to the team at the end of the CMRA season and set the new CMRA track record at MSR Cresson beating Ty Howard’s 2007 record. Dustin’s drive and talent impressed HSBK and made him an easy choice for their 2014 position.
Ronnie Saner, owner of RSRacecraft will also be joining HSBK Racing as crew chief for the 2014 season. Dominguez and Saner have worked together for several years and the two have great rapport.
Dominguez commented, “I’m so grateful to have the opportunity to return to Supersport in 2014. I made a mistake by jumping into Superbike prematurely last year and was never comfortable in that class. The opportunity to return to Supersport where I feel comfortable with a supportive team is a blessing.”
