Motorrad team, 2010 Spanish champions in Stock Extreme, with his last rider Javier Fores, who will go next season to World Moto2 Championship, have signed with Javier Del Amor for the upcoming 2011 season, in order to win again the championship of Spain in the CEV. The Catalan finished third in the 2010 season with Ducati, getting 1 win and 3 second places. Del Amor will defend the colors of Motorrad to get the Stock Extreme Championship in 2011, and will take his new bike, the BMW S1000RR back to the elite of the CEV once again. The first contact with the S1000RR was the day after the last round of the championship in Jerez, where Catalan could test the power of his new bike with the team and Michelin technicians, already its 34 on the fairing. The good relationship between both riders, Forés and Del Amor, give us one of the most significant moments of the end of the season, because after a nice battle in the track and winning in Jerez, Fores gave his BMW to Del Amor, wishing him the greatest achievements in 2011. Javi del Amor also had tested the bike with Team Motorrad in Almeria circuit to continue making contact between rider, motorcycle and tires. Javier del Amor # 34: “I´m very happy to be with Motorrad next season, this year Team have shown the great potential they have, bike and tires. The first contact with the bike was so good, i was feeling S1000RR BMW’s positive, as it has a very fast cornering and fits much of my driving style. I want to start working at 100% with the whole team, BMW and Michelin, we will fight for the title next season” Manuel Alonso, Team Manager Motorrad Competicion: ” Del Amor is for us the best rider in Stock Extreme category for 2011, the previous test with the bike were so good for him and team. We are sure we will fight again for the victory in each race next season, Del Amor is a proffesional rider with a lot of years of experience and sure we will be better team with him. Also we have again the support of Michelin and Bmw so i think we keep the same combination of the last season when we get the Spanish Championship” The first round of Championship returns to Jerez in Spain next April 17 to the circuit where BMW Motorrad and achieved their last victory, and where Javier del Amor began his preseason.
