Costley Won The SMRI Unlimited GP Last Sunday At Sandia Motorsports Park

Mr. Money, Todd Costley wins the Sandia Motorcycle Road Racing Incorporated (SMRI) 2005 Season Opener Albuquerque, New Mexico, April 17th, 2005: With weekend temperatures in the high 70’s, the sounds and sights of New Mexico’s premier motorcycle road racing league filled the painted sky. Motorcycle road racers traveled from as far as Colorado and Texas in order to compete with racer from the Route 66 area for purse money and trophies at the Sandia Motor sports Park located west of Albuquerque on I-40. In the premier event the Unlimited Grand Prix, Current SMRI #1 plate holder Mike Shreve fought to defended his 2004 championship title from former 2001 and 2002 SMRI champion Mr. Money, Todd Costley to no avail. Todd captured the lead and then captured the checkered flag, claiming the first win of the 2005 season.
