CRA Celebrates Its 2014 Race Season

The Central Roadracing Association celebrated their 2014 season on November 15 in Oakdale, Minnesota. The club recognized racers and volunteers who had standout seasons, announced novice racers who had earned expert status, and recognized the winners of the 3 and 5 hour endurance events. Club Veteran Troy Pierson was announced as the 2015 club president, with 5 time president Mark Fisk stepping down from the board, and receiving the Worker of the Year award.

In his sophomore season, Clark Davis won the Novice Championship riding his Suzuki GSX-R 600. Veteran Christian Schmidt rode a combination of Kawasaki Ninja 300, Yamaha R6, Yamaha “R5”, and Suzuki SV650 to win the Expert Championship, making him the clubs third 3-time expert champion. Schmidt was eager to thank his sponsors for the 2014 season, including Tuner of the Year Chad Bakkene, Bob Fier (of Rocky Mountain Kawasaki), and crew member Kyle Ohnstad.
