Gatorade has generously sponsored the weekend event by providing sports drink for the entire racing paddock for Saturday and Sunday’s races as a tie-in for #thefueltopoweryourgame at Gatorade.com. Lone Star Yamaha will also be in hand with merchandise and motorcycles for some CMRA weekend only specials that can’t be beat.

The weekend activities begin at 7:00 am Friday with a CMRA license school, racer practice, and street rider track day provided by Lone Star Track Days (www.lstd.com). CMRA Registration and Tech Inspection will be open from 3:00 – 6:00 pm.

Saturday’s schedule begins with a full slate of Mini and Lightweight Sprint races, including the BearShark Brand – Formula 5, Aces High Racing – Formula 8, and Altus Lawton Motorsports – Ultra Lightweight GP Novice classes.

The fourth round of Ultra-Lightweight Endurance begins promptly at 10:30 a.m. with a 6 hour endurance race, featuring the Road & Track Suspension – 500 Supersport, Road & Track Suspension – E Superstock, The Bike Doctors – 500 Classic, and Altus Lawton Motorsports – Ultra Lightweight GP, and Formula 4 Endurance classes. Sunday’s schedule is jam-packed with a full day’s worth of competitive Bridgestone/CMRA Championship Sprint races, and a spectator lap of the track at lunch time, schedule permitting. Among the exciting classes not to be missed is the M4 Exhaust / P1 Racing Formula 1 Expert class, with a cash purse of $500 paid out to the top three Formula 1 Expert finishers and, a prize of $100 from P1 Racing for the first 600cc machine to cross the line in this race is also awarded every weekend.

A few other purse paying classes include; Century Trucks and Vans – D Superbike Expert ($525) and Formula 2 Expert ($225), RaceworX – A Superstock Expert ($165), and Leather & Lace Racing Leather Repair – Ladies ULW GP ($150). The AG Horn-sponsored “Go Girl” award returns for the second year. The $100 cash award is presented to the female racer who has the best combined finishes of the weekend in at least four races. The new “Racer’s Race” award of $50 and a custom T-shirt will also be given to the racer who overcomes the most setbacks to compete that weekend.
