This weekend, May 16 – 18, 2014, the Central Motorcycle Roadracing Association (CMRA) heads to Hallett Motor Racing Circuit near Tulsa, OK. This will be the only stop for the CMRA this season at the challenging 1.8 mile, counter-clockwise 11-turn road course. In addition, CMRA will also be hosting the U.S.National Endurance Series (USNE) and WERA National Endurance and Challenge Series this weekend.

The weekend’s activities begin Friday with all day CMRA racer practice and CMRA License School beginning at 8:00 a.m. Registration opens Friday at 6:30 a.m. for all weekend events and pre-registration is not required.

Saturday’s schedule begins with a full slate of Mini sprint races, including the Rainbox Sox Racing Junior Motard race for our youngest racers, ages 8-12 years old. Round 1 of 4 of the Solo 30 endurance races, and concludes with the a 6 Hour CMRA Championship Endurance race, which will combine CMRA, WERA, and the 3rd round of the U.S.National Endurance Series (USNE) presented by Lucas Oil for the biggest endurance crossover event at Hallett ever.

There will be a special podium awards ceremony at the track immediately following the finalized results of Saturday’s endurance event. Special USNE event t-shirts will be available as well.

Sunday’s schedule is a full day’s worth of exciting combined CMRA Big Bike and WERA National Challenge sprint races. Racers entered for either CMRA endurance or sprints are automatically entered into the USNE and WERA races as well. We’re looking forward to a big turnout with great weather and riders and teams coming from all over the country!

The CMRA’s premiere class on Sunday is the 10-lap Formula 1 Expert class. Qualifying begins at 9:45 to determine the grids for the race which runs just before the lunch break. The Breast Cancer Research Foundation and P1 Racing have joined forces to help promote Breast Cancer awareness and offer a $600 cash purse to be paid out to the top Formula 1 Expert finishers. The CMRA kicks in another $400 per weekend when the Formula 1 grid reaches 20 or more racers. A portion of each entry fee is donated to Breast Cancer Research.

Live timing and scoring is available for all the races via the Race Monitor App on mobile devices and online at cmraracing.com/timing.html. Keep up with the action if you can’t make it out to the track!

Gates open each day at 6:00 a.m. and we race rain or shine! Weekend entry into the event is only $20 on Thursday and Friday, Saturday is $15, just $10 on Sunday. Tickets are good for the entire weekend. Ride your street bike to the event and you’ll pay just $5 for entry on both Saturday and Sunday! Kids 12 and under are free.
