NEW US DISTRIBUTORS FOR MOTORCYCLING DVD GIANT COLD CREEK PARTNERS APPOINTED NEW NORTH AMERICAN DISTRIBUTORS Duke Video, the world’s largest distributor of motorcycle-oriented home entertainment products, has appointed Cold Creek Partners as their new distributor for North America, effective immediately. Dick Lague and Bruce Cox, have formed Cold Creek Partners LLC to market Duke Video products in the US and Canada. Duke Video, based on the Isle of Man, is the world’s premier supplier of motorcycle, automotive, and action sports video. In addition to the Duke MotoGP Recap 2005, World Superbike 2005 Recap, and the World MX recap 2005, Cold Creek will be shipping DVD titles in all major areas of international motorcycle sports as well as documentaries featuring famous marques and motorcycling personalities. Both Dick Lague and Bruce Cox have a long involvement in American motorcycling. Lague was for 25 years President of the Motorcycle Group at Petersen Publishing, where he led MOTORCYCLIST magazine and founded DIRT RIDER, SPORT RIDER, MOTORCYCLE CRUISER, MOUNTAIN BIKER and other magazines. Prior to Petersen, he was the Director of Marketing of the Can-Am Motorcycle Division of Bombardier Ltd.. In 2002 Dick founded IGNITION3 with sons Jeff and Jon to produce motorsports television and video. IGNITION3 has produced shows on the International Six Days Enduro for cable and DVD. The company is currently involved in video on demand work for RIPE TV including NASCAR and other motorsports programming. Cox was Publisher of the California-based MOTORCYCLE WEEKLY newspaper in the nineteen-seventies, as well as co-promoter of the US Motocross Grand Prix and other major American motorcycle races during that era. He is now a producer of motorsports-oriented television and DVD productions with over 100 broadcast programs and more than 120 DVD & video titles to his credit. Most of those titles have been produced with Duke Video during a near-twenty year involvement with the company. The Duke library now contains over 2000 titles and Cold Creek will be making initial selections from that massive archive to offer a core line of DVDs of direct interest to the North American consumer. Cold Creek will also be working with Duke to introduce new titles with the American motorcycle enthusiast market specifically in mind. These titles will be joined by 2005 season reviews of the Moto GP and World Superbike Championships as well as the World Motocross, Enduro and Trials series. Duke has exclusive DVD rights to the annual reviews of all these major Championships, in addition to the awesome Isle of Man TT road races. “We are very excited to bring the excellent Duke product line to American motorcycle enthusiasts.
