Bazzaz Named As MotoAmerica Supporting Partner

Engine management and electronics company to sponsor Superstock 600 class

COSTA MESA, CA, MAR. 30 – MotoAmerica has announced Bazzaz as a supporting partner of the 2015 MotoAmerica AMA/FIM North American Road Racing Championship and the title sponsor of the Bazzaz Superstock 600 class.

The MotoAmerica Series gets started at the Circuit of The Americas in Austin, Texas, April 9-12 with the Bazzaz Superstock 600 class set to open its season at Road Atlanta in Braselton, Georgia, a week later, April 17-19.

“We’re excited to have Bazzaz as our naming rights sponsor of the Superstock 600 class,” said MotoAmerica President and three-time 500cc World Champion Wayne Rainey. “This class will produce great racing this year with the young guns doing battle. Thanks to Bazzaz for being a part of it.”

Headquarted in Chino Hills, California, Bazzaz was started in 2003 after owner Ammar Bazzaz, at the time a race engineer instrumental in Yoshimura Suzuki’s Mat Mladin’s first three AMA Superbike titles, decided the time was right to bring high-level technology to all levels of motorcycle racers and motorcycle enthusiasts. The result: Bazzaz has now been instrumental in the implementation, tuning and application of electronic fuel injection for over 10 years.

“At Bazzaz, we love motorcycle racing,” said Josef Buxton, Vice President of Bazzaz. “We are born from American Superbike racing and it only seemed natural for us to give back to the sport that helped to create our company. We see this as a pivotal moment in American road racing and that in itself can be very exciting. When the new MotoAmerica series was announced, we knew immediately we had to be a part of this movement to resurrect American Superbike racing. To get behind the series as a title sponsor of the new Bazzaz Superstock 600 class has been a real honor. The folks at MotoAmerica are on it. Looking at what they have been able to put together in a short period of time has been a testament to their will. I believe the series is in good hands. We look forward to seeing the riders, teams and, most importantly, the fans, at the nine rounds. It’s going to be a great year to get out and see some racing.”
