Pirelli Claims Third Track Bounty of the 2016 Season as Adam Robarts Resets Track Record at The Ridge Motorsports Park

Robarts Tops His Own Record aboard Yamaha R1 Equipped with DIABLO™ Superbike Tires

ROME, Ga. – Today, it has been officially announced that history was made once again during the third round of the 2016 WMRRA Series at The Ridge Motorsports Park in Shelton, Washington on June 24-25. Redline Motorsports rider Adam Robarts riding aboard a Yamaha R1 topped his own best time by resetting the fastest motorcycle lap time record to claim Pirelli’s third track bounty of the 2016-racing season.

The R1 of Robarts was equipped with Pirelli’s DIABLO™ Superbike SC1 front and SC0 rear tires as he used an astonishing pace to set the new best lap time of 138.807. He topped the previous lap record of 138.845 that he had earned earlier in the season.

“Adam is on the gas hard and congratulations to the team for the incredible bike setup,” said Jeff Johnston, Pirelli Road Racing Manager, NAFTA. “This once again confirms what an unbelievable rider Adam is and further proves that we race what we sell and sell what we race. Pirelli offers the same products to all riders who are eager to go after track records!”

In addition to Robarts taking his second track bounty of the year in the WMRRA while equipped with Pirelli tires, Rickdiculous Racing’s Shane Turpin secured his own track bounty last month in the Vortex Masters of Mountains series at Utah Motorsports Campus.
