Week 2 theme: Go Ride Together!

PICKERINGTON, Ohio — AMA Go Ride! Month enters its second week today with AMA Go Ride Together! Week, when AMA members and clubs celebrate riding with family, friends and co-workers.

There are plenty of opportunities on tap to observe the theme of AMA Go Ride Together! Week. The AMA Yamaha Super Ténéré Adventure Riding Series includes incredible “High Adventure, No Hassle” rides in some of the country’s most scenic riding areas, and the AMA Husqvarna National Dual-Sport Series features the America’s best-organized dual-sport rides. Check them out atwww.americanmotorcyclist.com/Riding/Dirt/EventsAndSeries/NationalAdventureRide.aspx andwww.americanmotorcyclist.com/Riding/Dirt/EventsAndSeries/NationalDualSport/NationalDualSportSchedule.aspx.

For the best street rallies and tours, look no further than the AMA Premier Touring Series. Whether you’re looking to rub shoulders with thousands of like-minded riders or just hang out with your friends, the AMA has it all atwww.americanmotorcyclist.com/Riding/Street/PremierTouringSeries.aspx.

Cool weekly and monthly prizes from AMA Benefit Partners — Avis, BikeBandit.com, ColorRite, Cortech, FLY Street and FLY Racing, PowerTye, Red Roof Inns and Tour Master — make AMA Go Ride! Month even more exciting.

During AMA Go Ride Together! Week, FLY apparel is providing gift certificate prizes for both street and dirt riders. Anyone who “likes” or comments on a post on the AMA Facebook page by 4:45 p.m. EDT on April 11 is eligible to win. One winner for each gift certificate will be chosen at random.

“Freedom Friday” is another highlight of AMA Go Ride! Month, when the AMA champions America’s motorcycling freedoms. The Freedom Friday focus is on motorcycle-only checkpoints during AMA Go Ride Together! Week. Look for AMA posts regarding motorcycle-only checkpoint legislation and current events to like and comment on to be entered into the Freedom Friday contest. AMA Member Benefit Partner Avis is providing a rental car voucher to a lucky winner in the Freedom Friday Contest. Details will be provided on the AMA Facebook page and the winner will be selected by random drawing at 4:45 p.m. EDT on April 11.

For the AMA Go Ride! Month Grand Prize, one overall winner will be chosen from everyone who “likes” or comments on an AMA Facebook page post between March 31 and 4:45 p.m. on Friday, May 2. The prize package includes a FLY Racing Roller Grande gear bag, a Cortech Super 2.0 8-liter tank bag, a $100 gift certificate from BikeBandit.com, a Rental car voucher from Avis and one night’s lodging from Red Roof Inns.

Contestants do not have to be AMA members to win and can enter as often as they wish during AMA Go Ride! Month. Contest rules are posted on the AMA website: www.americanmotorcyclist.com/GoRideContest. Updates will be available on the AMA Facebook page.
