FIRST PERSON/OPINION

Via e-mail:

Hurricane Frances recently visited Asheville, NC last week and dropped HUGE amounts of rain. The photos below are the results, and these are just a small part.

Washed out roads, Asheville’s water supply out and contaminated until (September 15), plus power to a lot of the region was out for several days.

It will take a while before everything’s back to normal, and Ivan’s headed here too! We are a long way from an ocean, but it still hit hard.

If people want to see what can happen – this will show them it wouldn’t be a whole lotta’ fun to end the AMA Superbike Season this way!

Take care y’all!
